Synopsis
Glenn Ford heads for South America to meet up with Frank Lovejoy and Cesar Romero in this amiable variation on the western, though the Brazilian setting that was a novelty when the film came out may well have lost its appeal by now. Chief points of interest (beyond Ford's attractive naturalistic style that would soon turn him into one of Hollywood's biggest international stars) are the co-starring Ursula Thiess, once married to Robert Taylor, and the fact that this mainstream effort was directed by schlock-horror maestro William Castle, who also produced Rosemary's Baby. Watch for sultry Abbe Lane, who burns up the screen.
