Synopsis

The social issue of date rape is the focus of this drama. College journalist Melissa Joan Hart (Sabrina the Teenage Witch) is terrorised by her school's football squad after she uncovers a conspiracy of silence surrounding her roommate's rape by the team's star player. She fights back by exposing the university's preferential treatment of athletes' behaviour. Steve Johnson's fine dramatic script touches on all the relevant aspects of this ongoing problem and, while star Hart is adequate, Lisa Dean Ryan turns in a riveting performance as the violated student.
