Synopsis

Jules Verne's Rocket to the Moon (1967) box art On the lam from creditors back home in America, dodgy Phineas T. Barnum (Burl Ives) convinces a wealthy English duke (Dennis Price) to finance a harebrained plan to blast a man to the moon from a gigantic cannon. But rivals want to beat Barnum into space, and soon intrigue and other troubles may spell doom for his latest scheme. Don Sharp directs this star-studded comedy based on the works of Jules Verne.
