Synopsis

Clueless meets All the President's Men in this comedy, which stars Kirsten Dunst and Michelle Williams as two dim teens who stumble into the Watergate break-in and soon find themselves working as presidential dogwalkers for "Tricky Dick". It playfully tweaks at the Watergate myths, with the girls becoming fixtures in the Nixon White House and eventually serving as "Deep Throat" for vain, bumbling reporters Woodward and Bernstein. Dunst and Williams are a pleasure to watch, equal parts innocence and idiocy. Williams's taped confession of her crush on the president is a high point, as is Dan Hedaya as a foul-mouthed Nixon. Light-hearted, goofy fun.
